In June 2025, I spent time with the Southern Rodeo Company at an event in Hiawassee, Georgia, documenting it all on film. With a background in sports, I’ve always been drawn to the physicality and culture surrounding different forms of competition. Growing up in the South, I often felt at odds with the traditions around me. Photography has become my way of exploring and understanding them.
