1000 POrtraits Project
1000 Portraits is an ongoing traveling portrait project by artist / photographer France that aims to capture the beauty, individuality, and shared humanity of everyday people. Beginning in Valdosta, Georgia (his hometown) the project invites community members to step in front of the camera for a simple yet profound exchange: to be seen, documented, and celebrated. Each portrait adds to a growing archive that seeks to reach one thousand faces, weaving together stories of identity, place, and time. More than a collection of photographs, 1000 Portraits is about connection and reminding us that every person, no matter how ordinary they may seem, carries extraordinary depth.
