This image comes from a trip my wife and I took to the Netherlands. I brought along my medium format camera to document our trip. We took the train from Amsterdam to Delft one day to walk around and see a different part of the Netherlands that wasn’t Amsterdam. As I was walking down a canal street, I came across a swan that was feeding in the canal. I took my time coming up to it as I know they can be aggressive beauties. It took me close to 45 minutes to get this image as I kept having to recompose my shot as the swan swam around.
